Our purpose is to assist people by showing them God’s love. The Faith House is home to our Good Samaritan ministry.
Good Samaritan
Good Samaritan was formed to help families in need. We can provide food, medicine, clothing, utilities, gas, and rent. During special times of the year we provide Easter baskets, school supplies and shoes, along with Give Thanks bags,Christmas bags and blankets. Click on the this Good Samaritan link,above, to see a list of food items that we currently need. We will also try to guide you in the right direction if we are unable to provide assistance. Our hours are Tuesday from 8:00-12:00. We can be reached by phone at 751-1347.
Habitat for Humanity
Works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Hope House
The Aldersgate Sunday School class has been instrumental in the formation of this ministry. Our goal is to help families and individuals that have immediate needs such as household appliances, clothing, bedding and general furniture items. We have a few individuals that have carpentry skill they may be able to assist with minor home repairs and the building of handicap ramps for homes. If you would like to request assistance or if you have a skill that may help others, we would like to hear from you. We are accepting donations for the items listed above but you must have prior approval from Teresa McGhee about drop off time, dates and locations. At Hope House we need childrens clothing in all sizes from babies to teens, boys and girls.
Bed linens, towels, and dishes. All types of furniture, tvs, computers, etc. We have had
several "homeless" families this summer. Fans are also a high requesst item.We are located in the duplex on the Southeast corner of the church property behind the church (corner of Sloss Street and Short Street).

We have an immediate need for the following items:
- Electric Fans are a high priority
- Underwear, male and female ALL sizes
- BLANKETS, any size any color
- All types of furniture, TVs and computers etc.
- Shoes, male and female ALL sizes
- Blue jeans, male and female ALL sizes
- Children's clothes, boy's and girl's from babies sizes through toddlers and teens
If you would like to assist us additionaly, we always have a financial need. We help people that walk in and have a need that we do not currently have in our posession. If we have financial donations from our church family then we can immediately go to a store and fulfill that need.
