Dear Friends,

This church is an evangelistic, growing church involved

in missions - one of the best! We are bringing new people

into the life of Christ and helping them to become better

Disciples of Jesus Christ.

      I am so happy to be the pastor of this church. The past

three and a half years have been the best of my ministry,

and some of the best years of my life. I have seen my three

children go off to college and come home, we have been able

to buy our first house, and we have developed some great

friendships. Thank you for taking us into your church, and

into your hearts.

      Best of all, the ministry of this church has been fulfilling

to me in every way. You have worked hard to make this

church what it is. You have invited people to church, which

makes us grow. But you are also a mission minded church.

We help people in Hartselle from day to day with their needs

and we are active all over the world. At the same time, our

ministries to people are inspiring to me - the caring shown to

hurting people in the congregation reflects the love of Christ.

Small group ministries are thriving and age level ministries

are growing.

      All these ministries start at the most basic level of the

church with the General Fund for all the basics. We also have

a Building Fund to pay for our most recent added facilities

which have helped us go forward as the Body of Christ. We

need these generous acts of giving to continue to minister to

people, and to reach all the people God is calling us to.

basic need for the future ministries, indeed for the future of
